Tell us about your journey and we will show you where you are in your recovery, what is happening with your body, and what to focus on next.

What is postpartum recovery?

Postpartum recovery spans the first year after birth. Your body is healing from pregnancy and delivery while simultaneously adapting to the demands of caring for a newborn. Recovery is not a straight line — it comes in phases, and your experience depends on your birth type, feeding method, and individual circumstances.

This tracker personalises your recovery dashboard based on your actual situation: vaginal, assisted, or C-section birth, and whether you are breastfeeding, formula feeding, or mixed feeding.

The four phases of recovery

Weeks 0–6 (Early Recovery): Your body is actively healing. Rest is essential. Focus on gentle movement, nourishing food, and accepting help.

Weeks 6–12 (Building Strength): After your GP check, you can begin rebuilding. Pelvic floor first, then core.

Weeks 12–26 (Finding Your Rhythm): Energy returns gradually. This is where sustainable habits form.

Weeks 26–52 (Full Restoration): Most women feel significantly recovered. Your body may never be exactly the same, but it can be strong, capable, and yours.
